Native to Los Angeles, Jordan Strong still remains in the city he grew up in, the same city that opened his heart to the music that has become his life.s work and passion. Jordan was very young when he discovered he was blessed with the gift of music to share with the world. At the early age of eight Jordan began playing various musical instruments. Now, at the age of twenty-six Jordan Strong has successfully established himself as a talented DJ, reputable event producer, and budding producer. Jordan.s First experience with the house music culture was in 1994 and it was enough to fuel him for a lifetime. Realizing that house music might actually be saving lives, Jordan took swift action and began his training. As of now Jordan serves his people with what he calls .ancient ritualistic musical therapy.. Along with playing at many of Los Angeles. best underground parties and clubs, he has also played in Seattle, Portland, Acapulco, Gaudalajara, San Francisco, San Diego, and W.M.C. in Florida. Jordan plays a diverse yet eclectic style of dance music based on House music ranging from a downbeat tempo to an up tempo house. Not only a DJ, but also an event producer as well, Jordan is a vital force in the underground house music collective known as Uniting Souls. Born in 1995 in San Francisco Uniting Souls quickly became a staple in the city.s house culture. In 1999 Uniting Souls began doing events in Los Angeles as well, where Jordan became the first Uniting Souls Los Angeles resident dj. Uniting Souls. mission statement is .Unification through art and Music.. Not only was Jordan the first resident DJ for Uniting Souls Los Angeles, but also in the last year has managed the production of several events (including four non-profit fundraisers for Nextaid.org and a Tsunami Survivor Fundraiser) for the collective. As many passionate DJ.s and promoters tend to do, the next natural step for Jordan was to begin producing music. His very first published track is a remix of Afrique alongside a DJ Spinna mix being released on Cha Cha Project Recordings. Since the beginning of Jordan.s efforts in the House community, his vision has not changed. He has always appreciated and upheld the spiritual aspects of his art. When all walks of life come together on one common ground and forget their troubles for even just a moment, Jordan feels he is getting the job done. For Jordan the reason behind his djing is to bring people together and help them feel far away from their troubles. Jordan.s message is one of unity and enlightenment, which he works hard at conveying through his music.
